Super entertaining

This little recipe book enrichment toy is such a great idea, and really has helped with entertaining our bored indoor cats. It has lots of different little pockets where you can hide different types of cat treats depending on what your cat prefers, and some of the pockets are a little more challenging than others. We put treats in all the different pockets and then closed the front as instructed, but the cats couldn't get the treats out that way. I had to open the front and give them a chance to learn how to find the treats without it being so difficult at first. Maybe once they get used to getting treats out of the pockets, we can introduce the closure of the front to make it a little more challenging for them.

Good Toy; Bit Pricey

This has been a fun addition to my dog’s puzzle toy rotation! I have a Border Collie, so I’m constantly switching out his puzzle toys to keep him from getting bored. I really like that this one offers different levels of difficulty. I can start him with the easier version laid flat, where he can figure out the treat pockets and then make it more challenging by folding it into the chef coat. It’s nice to have both options in one toy, especially for a dog who catches on to puzzles quickly. The different hiding spots and crinkly pieces also keep him interested and encourage him to use his nose rather than simply relying on his paws. It folds up easily for storage, which is another plus. My only hesitation is the price. At around $33, I think it’s a little expensive for a plush puzzle toy. That said, the two difficulty levels make it more versatile than many similar toys.
